Conditions for taking stool samples

The analysis of fecal feces are a set of tests used by the doctor to evaluate pathologies related to the digestive system. The results of the analysis allow assessing diseases caused by infectious agents such as parasites, bacteria and viruses. To carry out this type of test, it is necessary to use a stool sample collected by the patient, therefore the collection of the sample must be carried out with the appropriate protocols, since there may be a series of factors that alter the quality of the sample at the moment. after its collection, some of these factors may be related to the materials to be used or to contamination with biological fluids such as urine. For this reason, it is advisable to instruct the patient on the proper technique for collecting fecal simples.
