The cultural heritage of La Maná canton as a tourist attraction: analysis of its value and management

The objective of this article was to analyze the value of the cultural heritage of the La Maná canton and the management implemented for its conservation and promotion as a tourist attraction. The research was based on a qualitative approach and a documentary study, supported by the inductive method and the documentary analysis technique, based on the review of documents containing valuable information for the study and obtaining the results that allowed us to conclude that: La Maná has great tourist potential supported by its cultural heritage, but it needs to overcome some weaknesses in terms of infrastructure, services, accessibility and promotion to consolidate itself as a first-class tourist destination. Investment in these aspects, together with the active participation of the community, will allow the Canton to make the most of its tourist attractions and offer an authentic and memorable tourist experience for visitors.
