This article presents theoretical arguments about the teaching-learning process, which is an interactive process in which teachers participate as facilitators and students as actors in the development of skills based on performance criteria through pedagogical strategies. It is known that, currently, the educational field constantly faces challenges regarding academic training. This research aimed to improve the teaching-learning process of Language and Literature in 6th grade EGB with the support of the Educaplay Platform at the Ecuadorian Basic Education School during the third quarter of the 2024-2025 school year. A mixed methodological applicative approach was implemented. The study population included 7 students between 10 and 12 years old. The results obtained were collected through various methods such as interviews, analysis and observation, and test administration, recording significant progress before, during, and after the process, demonstrating that students did need to implement educational tools with the help of a structured guide. In conclusion, ICTs play an important role as a teaching strategy adapted to the needs of teachers, strengthening learning for autonomy and independence.
