Abstract

Teacher leadership is a fundamental element in all educational practice and without a doubt one of the most important and influential aspects of teacher leadership is in the application of active methodologies in innovative learning environments. Therefore, the present research set the following as its primary goal: To analyze the relationship between the use of active methodologies and teacher leadership in innovative learning environments, in order to propose strategies that strengthen educational practice and pedagogical management. For this purpose, the methodology used was of a qualitative-quantitative descriptive nature through the application of the survey instrument to a considerable teaching population. In such a way that the result shows adequate management of teacher leadership in the implementation of active methodologies in innovative environments, but which undoubtedly must be strengthened through the incorporation of strategies such as the creation of study circles and continuous improvement among teachers focused on aspects of innovation such as the application of ICT and innovative environments in the teaching-learning processes focused on the achievement of skills and competencies in students.
