The integration of digital tools in education has become a key strategy for strengthening teaching and learning processes, especially in rural contexts where traditional methodologies predominate. In this regard, gamification through interactive platforms is presented as an alternative to increase motivation and enhance the understanding of curricular content. The objective of this research was to evaluate the impact of using e-learning tools, with an emphasis on Educaplay, on the teaching and learning process of ninth-grade students at the Juan XXIII Catholic School. The methodology employed a mixed-methods approach, with a non-experimental, descriptive-comparative design. The study population consisted of 95 students and 10 teachers. Surveys and interviews were used as data collection techniques, and the instruments were validated through expert review and a pilot test. The study was structured in three phases: initial diagnosis, pedagogical intervention, and post-intervention evaluation. The results showed an improvement in motivation, participation, and content comprehension after the implementation of Educaplay, as well as a positive assessment by teachers regarding its contribution to autonomous learning and the development of digital skills. It is concluded that Educaplay is a viable and relevant pedagogical tool to support educational innovation processes in rural contexts.
