Domestic violence represents a significant social problem that affects the integral development of children during early childhood. Exposure to violence within the family environment may generate emotional, cognitive, and social consequences that influence child development and the formation of secure emotional bonds. The objective of this study is to analyze the impact of domestic violence on early childhood and examine the role of social workers in prevention, intervention, and family support processes. The research follows a qualitative documentary and analytical approach through the review of scientific literature, legal regulations, and institutional reports related to child protection. The results show that early exposure to violent environments produces emotional disturbances, behavioral regulation difficulties, and problems in children's social interaction. Additionally, the study highlights that social workers play a key role in early detection of cases, coordination of institutional protection networks, and strengthening parental capacities. The study concludes that interdisciplinary intervention strategies and the strengthening of public policies aimed at early childhood protection are essential to prevent and mitigate the effects of domestic violence.
