Abstract

This research points to the phenomena associated with the practice of formative research, considering the existing problem in many Ecuadorian universities in terms of how Titling research is designed, executed, evaluated and improved. The objective being to analyze the formative investigative practice to propose relevant models that enable the effective empowerment of university students in solving the professional problems of their specialty. It was assumed with a mixed approach, observing the professional educational reality, from the documentary analysis and the field study, using various methods, being the analytical - synthetic, the inductive-deductive, the modeling, the systemic the determinants. In the order of the results, the following stand out: the contributions to the epistemological discussion around formative research and the proposal of a systemic modeling to focus on the use of investigative paradigms in Degree Projects.
