Environmental Problems in Ecuador and Latin América

Abstract

Environmental problems do not make plans or policies, they are actions and processes of nature or of the human being, but these must be dealt with in a planned, systematic and decentralized way to promote the active participation of the various local actors, and guarantee the decisions made by the Authorities contribute to the care and conservation of the environment, and thus be able to contribute in turn to the sustainable development of the locality. The qualitative study, basic type and systematic technical design, must be based on a bibliographical study, in environmental management of local governments. The analysis of this article concluded that the majority of local governments in Ecuador have various drawbacks that directly and significantly affect the development of good environmental management, as well as the lack of interest of the authorities, etc., in through a mechanism that promotes the full development of the inhabitants within a sustainable and healthy environment.
