Steel Framing construction system and its impact on environmental protection

Abstract

Construction is a necessary and challenging process for every human being, therefore, the purpose of this research is to discuss steel structures or Steel Framing construction systems and their environmental impact. From a methodological point of view, bibliographic research is developed with the help of inductive deduction, documentary analysis and synthetic analysis. This allows information to be collected, processed and interpreted through which construction time can be reduced and polluting noise reduced. Steel does not collapse and has ductile properties that mitigate the effects of earthquakes. Off-site paneling is possible, reducing the number of people on site and reducing the risk of workplace accidents. Environmentally friendly, steel is 100% recyclable and the efficiency in environmental benefits is at least 1% material waste. In addition, it has the ability to disassemble, separate and recycle all or part of the materials following the construction philosophy.
