Plyometrics is a type of training that focuses on improving your muscles' ability to generate force and speed. In this research, a quasi-experimental study was carried out with 11 mixed martial arts athletes from an academy in Riobamba, Ecuador. Jump height, force, speed, power, contact time, and force and velocity profile were measured using the My Jump 2 mobile app. A plyometric training plan was developed and the same parameters were measured post-training. The results showed a significant increase in the strength, power and height of the athletes. It was concluded that guided plyometric training can significantly improve lower limb strength and strength in low, medium and high kicks. Plyometrics is a training method that can enhance the physical abilities of athletes regardless of the sport in which this method is used.
